After installing and licensing the Activity for Jira plugin, navigate to the Jira dashboard on which you'd like to place your new chart. In the top-right, click on the "Add Gadget" button. Scroll until you find the gadget named "MS Jira Activity Chart" and click "Add Gadget". Exit out of the menu and you'll see the menu on the left.
Statistic: Use this dropdown to select which statistic you'd like to see a graph for.
Date Range: Use this to choose the range of dates that you'd like to see statistics for. You can choose the past week, the past two weeks, the past month, the past 50 days, or your own custom date range. Note: you cannot view more than 50 dates at once. If more than 50 are selected, the earliest 50 will be displayed.
Start Date: Available only if "Select custom date range" is selected. Used to set the early end of the custom date range.
End Date: Available only if "Select custom date range" is selected. Used to set the chronological end of the custom date range.
Graph deltas instead of full values: Check this box if the graph should display the daily change from one day to the next. For example, if the value for one day is "6" and the next day is "5", checking the box will have the graph display "-1" on the latter date.
Graph Color: Use this to pick the color that the graph should be.
Graph Opacity: Use this to set the opacity or transparency of the graph.
